i know exactly what you mean :-) Lou,my seven year old daughter has been jumping around all day, while i wanted to spend my day rather laid-back, haha. I think it's due to the weather, today was a rainy/sunny/windy day... And "hey!" i also have a son who's name is Otto!! Lot's of love.
My boy has that energy, too. The movie "Where the Wild Things Are" (based on the Maurice Sendak childrens' book) came out this weekend and I saw it. What impressed me most was the way in which the sheer physical energy of boys was conveyed. You should see it if you can. I'm not sure if it has been released outside of the States yet. You could find a movie trailer on line, though.
For those of us who have treasured the perfection that is Where The Wild Things Are, translating it to film was unimaginable. So watching the movie was, among many feelings, humbling. Humbling to know how stunted our imagination is and was... go see it if you can. Max builds an igloo :-), forts, and a family. Beautiful and melancholy.
i loved these photos. i have a little boy, too...not in school yet so he's always around when i am working or trying to work...doing his "work" right next to me. :)

His energy never ends .... isn't that how it always is? :P haha
Looks like autumn :) I've been seeking it myself out in San Francisco, where we don't really get a true fall season...

Åh jeg kender det alt for godt!! Syntes altid jeg mangler energi i efteråret!
Håber det går bedre..
There's something about the weather cooling down that gives me so much more energy. Glad you have some coming back :)
