The sun is shining in Gothenburg, Hiro fell asleep under a chair and here is the plate.

House renovation diary by Kate Elliott. Wish it was me.

Almost forgot, there's an interview with me at Caos magazine - 10 tip what to do with
kids in Gothenburg (in spanish).

Thanks for linking to my blog. My renovation is very slow because we are trying to do as much as can ourselves.

Olivia, that is a nice comment. Folk art is in my heart.

Thanks for your other comments as well. The pillow is from last year, I did the design for Envelop. See other nice pillow cases and textiles by other designers at: www.envelop.eu

Beautiful portrait and I love your wallpaper! Is it your own drawing on the wall?

Fine Little Day said...

Olly, the wallpaper is from Cole & Son. My drawing is on the pillow :)

I miss Gothenburg. I love your aesthetic! And I love how you have mounted the Cole and Son paper. Is it hung by a frame rather than directly on the wall?

Fine Little Day said...

*HealthyBibliotec, thanks! The wallpaper hangs directly on the wall.

Oh my gosh - I love that wallpaper, I love Hiro (is he sleeping?) and I love that he is such a complementary colour for the wallpaper. ;)

Oh, what a great photo!
I love everything in it: the trees, the matching shoehorn, the boots, the matching chair, the wallpaper, the matching Hiro...

Wow - I can't believe how lovely your home is! I thought the first photo was perhaps from a magazine chair until I saw little Hiro. Super pretty and simply and just perfect.

How is it possible that I haven’t noticed before (???) that you live in Gothenburg?
For me it is one the most romantic places on earth - it’s where I met my husband 1995;-)

Your little cat is so cute. For UK people with cat lover friends there is an issue of stamps with cats coming out tomorrow. Some with dogs too.
Love, love your blog.

Cole & Son heter tillverkaren!
