You have taken very nice photos of the children's work. My children made traced-body portraits in school a couple of years ago as well. The ones they made were a little different than these you show in that they drew all the anatomical structures - bones, blood vessels, heart, and the like. Very funny to see them!

I like these body drawings. My kids always have fun when we trace our bodies, paint them and hang them on the wall. For a while they refuse to take them down.

I can never get over the artwork in my sons school either, it's like they are all creative geniuses :)!
Just saw your new cat, he is adorable...I'm sure he is entertaining too.

Beautiful things! It's a mix of kids' art with some "adult-y" vision. Fantastic.

Children's creativity is always amazing! I wonder if we have similar schools here in California...

It's wonderful. My son just did this (tracing self) in his preschool. Did you ever read the children's book Flat Stanley? The preschoolers read this and now are going to be mailing 'themselves' to family members who in turn will have to do something with them. Not sure what the teachers' have up their sleeves, but can't wait to see the full project.

I love the work! It looks like a modern art installation. You're right, their school does seem fun!

They are fabulous! My daughter's preschool class did this - they outlined the shape of parents who came in to talk about what work they did and then the kids painted the outlines and hung them from the walls. It was so gorgeous :) K
