It took a lifetime but now we have tried. Downhill skiing, the whole family.
A 2 days course together in Kungsberget. We are totally bruised and
tired but overwhelmed and happy. So fun, can't belive I didin't try this before!
Tomorrow we're heading south again, together with our cat :)

It looks like great fun! I can't believe the photos of snow, our winter here in Vancouver has been the warmest in a hundred years or something like that! It was a bit of a problem for some of the Olympic events, but generally the city is having one big party with amazing sunshine-!!

Ah, yes, Mimi's tattooed lady! I'm a lucky lady in that I am doing a sewing workshop with Mimi Kirchner next weekend!
Skiing is fun with the family. We just went yesterday afternoon. I, too, learned as an adult (my early 20s), but now I feel very comfortable on the slopes. Have fun!
It looks stunning there, Millie giggled out loud at the photo of the bears. I miss skiing! We can ski here, but it's a good four hour drive and not much fun with a toddler...

Ser riktigt kallt ut men också mysigt.Fint collage. Har faktiskt aldrig själv stått på ett par slalomskidor, men vi får se om det blir av innan man blir alltför gammal och stel ;-)
Kungsberget var ofta resmålet när det var fritidsdag under skoltiden, men som sagt blev det elljusspåret istället då ;-) / Karin

The bears, ran around the area and hugged people/kids. Tovalisa and Otto fled though. We were told that they were suppose to be some kind of versions of the Beagle Boys.

Dagen då jag hämtade min hund ville han inte ens titta åt mitt håll. Jag tror att djuren vet att det är dags att flytta. Lite jobbigt för dom såklart. Men allt kommer att bli jättebra!

downhill skiing still scares me after falling and not being able to get up with those big skis on
maybe someday. snowshoeing or cross country may be more my style

Down hill skiing was one of the greatest fun I ever had.I went down hill skiing a couple-three times in high school and loved it.i am glad your family and you enjoyed it.
glad you tried it! i've skiied most of my life, but had missed a few years until this winter. i'd almost forgotten how fun and exhilerating it is! i love the skiing here in utah, but would love to try it out in norway one day...
