Have you seen the film, The Story of the Weeping Camel? It's set in Mongolia and really made me want to go and live in a yurt in the middle Mongolian desert. It's such a great film.

oh those jurtas are amazing! and the clothes they use. and the hairdos. i've seen the weeping camel movie too. and older photos are so nice. and still they look the same.

Well, the last time I did it I was 7 months pregnant. Very uncomfortable. For the most part, it's cozy. But there are also food smells, animal parts hanging around, stuff like that. I love the image I have of a little girl taking her book from a plastic bag stuffed into one of the wooden frame beams.
