The dream about a country house continues. We will know in about two weeks if we
are the new owners of the house. Bad omen to blog about it some people have told me.
So be it. Should put this lovely kitchen towel in a frame. Illustrated by Matti Pikkujämsä for Kaustine.

What's bad omen?
Whatever it is, I'm sure we are all sending you enough bad omen around here to contradict the theory!

lj, ha ha yes let us hope all is good about this :)
Wikipedia say this about "omen":
"An omen is a phenomenon that is believed to foretell the future. Omens may be considered either good or bad depending on their interpretation.
For example, a superstition in the United States and other countries across Europe indicates that a black cat is an omen of bad luck."
Anyway hope it is good omen nothing else.
Oh I hope it will be yours!
I love this tea towel! It'll look fabulous in a frame :) Kx
you deserve that house!
oooh! very cool term!
let me tell you that in Mexico for good omen we light a candle to the saint in charge of the matter, in this case we should light a candle in the name of the summer-houses-saint
That is the best teatowel I have ever seen! I am now on a frantic search for a UK stockist.
never heard about this particular omen.(that it is bad to tell about houses to other people) What i heard is that the 3:d house you really wish was yours- will be yours. it is often true , and was in my case.
Is it a closed bidding so you have no clue what the others are bidding?
Good Luck Elisabeth!I have a strong feeling this house is going to be yours.
Det ser underbart ut!
Håller bästetummen för er. Småland är trevligt både sommar och vinter. :)

There's nothing wrong with wearing your heart on your sleeve! And as for that tea towel, it's just gorgeous (and would go beautifully in any home you have). Thanks for stopping by and checking out my flotsam dolls. They're pretty special (even though I do say so myself)! Pruxxx

Oh!! good luck Elisabeth!!
the house is so beautiful!!
hope you get it!!!! :D
The print reminds me of a poster I had when I was 6 years old - it was a South African house with chickens and all sorts milling around. Such a cosy feel to it and so nostalgic!
I bet everyone can remember at least one of their mother's tea towels like a piece of clothing!
Good luck - here's to your little piece of home!
