Must be my lucky day. Found, in the trash (!), a box with brand new children's
books. This amazing one by Ryoji Arai was among them.

Kind of hurts to think of
books being tossed out.
Thank goodness for trash
angels!

I have been looking for the lost box of kids books and nothing. Good it was you who spotted it. Because I would have probably sorted it out and kept only the best ones. This way everything got saved.

these illustrations are so charming, your so lucky to have found such beauties!
i don't understand people who just throw things into the bin just because they don't want them, why don't they pass them on to other who can love them? the world has become a place where everything is so disposable.

Ryoji Arai is excellent!!!!!
I have spotted him in a supermarket in Tokyo but I couldn't talk to him and I regret! Haha.
I wonder who it belonged to? But it's cool it went into your hands :)
