I have tons of clippings myself as well... I always wanted to arrange them somehow... like in some sort of inspiration book or something... I tried once but soon stop it. Sometimes photos on both sides of the page are fantastic and than it's hard to decide which one to choose... I hate it... Do you know what I mean? Maybe we should make a clipping project someday or something... :)
Ohhh, I love food mag clippings...they make great accessories for birthday cards. I have "piles and piles" of favorite web pages saved that inspire me too.
all i can say - keep them. some years ago, my aunt gave me a stash of magazine clippings her sister had collected in the 1960s and kept in a box somewhere. they were such an inspiration!
ha! just did the same some months ago. i promised myself to not buy expensive magazine anymore. books, only books. but i am allowed to bring back free mags and clippings i found in my friends mags when they are ok with this... i love standing bear's illustration. marvelous
To clip or not to clip? That's always the question with me! I accumulate piles of clippings extremely fast but never seem to go back and review the clipped stacks often enough. I'm trying recently to just keep the magazines intact and edit edit edit...
my next appartment will for sure HAVE to include a magazine room. guess if the number of unread, unflipped-through, unlooked-at magazines becomes larger than the ones you read, that might be a sign of "just too many"...
i love clippings. they are essential - there is no space for all of the magazines. and in a way, editing them and keeping them as the sole focus is more satisfying anyway.
hahaha oh yeah. i know what you mean. i really need to clean out my magazine clippings...but i love flipping through them and seeing what gems i come across!
Im also a magazine addict but unlike you I am not brave enough to tear the pages I want out of the magazines. I have 10 years of about 6 magazines that I subscribe to. My husband has long ago learnt to accept the stacks that appear here and there around the house. Its interesting I still go back through the issues for inspiration.

Good point! I've been meaning to sort all my magazines out and just keep the good bits, but never get round to it. Maybe now I'll give it a try!

True and true! But I can always seem to find room to squeeze in one more!
i am the same - i had to start taking pages out instead of hoarding whole mags too :)
so nice to look back at these clippings now and than!
the first one looks like your house, no? the 2nd pic is my favorite. really nice!
den där rutiga kudden på den rutiga soffan den skulle jag typ kunna ha som utgångspunkt I LIVET. nästan.
I'm having a hard time keeping all of mine organized. I'm running out of space!!
Completely agree! I try, but don't always manage, to file them by room - living room, bedroom inspiration, etc. Or just whole house inspiration :)

Yes, yes and yes! :) I have tried to control the clippings by sorting them into scrapbooks but still I have too many shoeboxes full of them.
haha, this sounds so familiar, i have tons too:)
Det e så man ska göra såklart, riva ut det fina. Sovrummet på den översta bilden gillar jag mycket.
it's always good to have lots to look at:)
Story of my mothers life.
Sometimes it feels good to throw out some of the clippings and start fresh. I find that too many weigh me down and I can't go anywhere with them.
It would be like one big magazine except every page inspires.

Yes, every now and then I clip and chuck. Long overdue a session now. The piles are mounting!
I ADORE that little soldier picture. Just gorgeous.

Yes... I have that problem too :) But I like them... I couldn't imagine throwing away all those amazing ideas and inspiration, so the files remain. Kx
Så knäppt. jag har funderat på att jag skulle göra precis ett sådant här inlägg nu i veckan. Jag gör samma sak. river ut och kastar tidnigen.
how do u organize those clippings? i love yr blog btw
agreed. you have such nice clippings too! :)
He he.
