I have always (for a long time) been attracted to the stove, as a symbol.
I think it has to do with how a stove looks like rather than what it symbolize
practical. It is something with the box shape and the circles. I like.

I'm making a stove shelf, that's what I'm doing.

Gosia Machon. I'm sorry but I don't recall where I found the link. It can have
been at Claire's place, Camillas blog or Mieke's but I really don't know. It can
even have been at Lena's place... Hm.

http://www.blurb.com/create/book/pricing

I like this display, yes I do ... but a stove? Really? Mind you, I'd just like one I didn't have to wrestle with. Gas. Oh yes. Gas.

Stove Shelf!
Ha ha, sounds like something you should yell out when you win a board game or something.
I don't know why I think that but I'm into it.

What a fun idea! A collection of stoves...domestic symbols into art.

I loved seeing this collection of yours. It reminded me of a special childhood memory. When I was a little girl, right around Christmas time, my mother would take me out to lunch at a restaurant in a local department store where they would serve children's meals in little cardboard stove toys. You would open the oven door to find your grilled cheese sandwich waiting inside. So fun!
