I don't know much really, about camera technique. When I got questions about what lense I use,
or even what kind of cameras I have, I have to think more than twice usually. It's like the names
and numbers don't stick in my mind. What I do know is what I like though. I like a camera to
have a good weight in my hand, a nice not too plastic coating (if it's not a plastic camera like
my Diana), manageable buttons and pedagogical software if it's a digital one. Also I have a soft
spot for the camera appearance. This camera is good example of what kind of look that speaks
to me. It's an old analouge one, a Rollei 35 SE, isin't nice.
The gloves with missing thumb and index fingertips, is from Etre touchy. Quite handy on cold winter days.
Ttv - Through The Viewfinder, fun photo idea. Found through Cakies.
"Through the Viewfinder photography is defined as taking a picture of any subject through the
viewfinder of any camera with another camera."
Feel a bit embarrassed writing this, but I was nominated last week in the category photography at Poppytalk.
Thank you all of you who have vote for me!

it's relieving to know that you don't need to be extremely technical to take good photos.
gives me hope.
love your photos, always.
and that little rollei is awesome!
that camera is super super sweet !
tomarrow is monday ! happy happy brand new week fulled of fun, dear elisabeth
:)
It's always lovely photos here at your place Elisabeth, I will vote for you! Anne
you are a natural talent, elisabeth. That first pictures is beautiful.
this is a nice one! I have a nikon d40 that takes good photos, but I'd love an old analogue camera too I think.
The Rollei is lovely-looking! I'm a sucker for a good-looking camera too. I got a Diana for christmas, and love it more than most of my other possessions put together!
Congratulations of your nomination. I always love your photos so I will vote for you Elisabeth
Du är en underbar fotogarf Elisabeth! Skall rösta för dig med en gång!
Ja, det där med detaljer ... som vilket operativ system på datorn och vad kameran heter...
jag är mer för att använda än att snöa in på detaljer, jag med.
I followed you in blogger just because of your photo taking. It's fun to see what inspires others and be inspired by it. I'm also glad to know that you use just a regular ol' camera. Keep snapping away.
:)
What a beautiful image! Feel like a northern dream. Have a wonderful week. Yanyan
I love my Nikon d300, but it always makes me pine for old-school film.
I adore your bite-size Rollei. Is is easy to use?
(And how, may I ask, did you get that photo? Do you have 3 hands?!)
if this blog would be a chapter in a book, i would read it over and over again.
(probably with a cigarette or a cup of cardamom coffee in my hand.)
Kristin, yes it's quite easy. Aim and shoot kind of. The husband is my third hand, ha ha. He took it under my instructions.
Usually anyway photos never come out how you expect them to (with the analogue anyway I always find this) but that's what is fun!
Good luck for the Poppies award Xx
ha ha ha, the same with me (about now knowing really about technical data) :)
your rollei reminds me of the small lomo, do you know the camera? approx. the same size.
and i love the gloves! great for outdoor photos in winter..
hey elisabeth! I'm back and have finally time to write and to thank you! I was very surprised when Outi told me that you had mentioned me in the interview. I felt very very honoured!
well, last week I was in Göteborg and at first I wanted to tell you or just look around in your studio. I thought it would be kind of shop. But then I didn't find. However it was very weird to know you working on the opposite of the road (we stayed in the Vandrahem)...Before leaving Saturday morning we had breakfast at "le petit café"! Thanks to your tipps on your website!
Schanett, so you where here, so close, ha ha. Funny that the world can feel so small sometimes. Le petit café, oh I love their sandwishes. Sounds like you had a great time then Jeanette!
your blog and the pictures you take are a huge pleasure to visit. So you were very rightly so nominated! Thank you for all the inspired pictures you share on your wonderful blog!

i love TTV photography. it always adds this fun touch to the photo especially if the viewfinder is old and grungy.
also, your gloves are really cute!
Congratulations on your nomination. when I first started my blog over the summer, yours was one of the first I put in my then-new-to-me Google Reader because I loved your photos so much.
I voted for you. Your photos are always so inspiring.
I love old looking cameras. I can always remember using my dad's old camera and having to wind it on by using a dial. might see if I can hunt it out.. he never get's rid of anything! x
