Ok, here it is.
What I´ve been working with the last couple of weeks. A print, I call it - Rebuild Square.

Been thinking how much I long for the sewing machine again, for hours and days when there´s
nothing particular to do, nothing planned, but maybe some little crafting (I´m getting old).

This is kind of a tribute to that - the slow and calm life.
It´s also a flirt with old embrodery, ornamental folk art and pixel graphics.

The first of three prints. A limited editon serie.
Remeber what I printed the other day? The first 25 who order will get one, a hand printed
pencil-box.

Thank you Mieke Willems for your eyes, and Redners Ekotryckeri for a great print job.

This is quite beautiful. At first I thought it was stitched. It is always interesting to come across something you expect to find in a certain medium, but it turns out to be something else all together.

Beautiful! What hits me is that embrodery is quite like pixelgraphic. Wich makes it traditional yet new at the same time. Love to follow your work for someone who "works to much to work". Hugs!! Hanna

Lisen said...

Söt! hihi, bajsar katten? :)

påminner lite om pixelgubbar ja, såna man kunde göra i Paint förr! Men korsstygnen var ju först! Modernt å gammeldags på samme gång.

Fine Little Day said...

Lisen, katten pruttar - shitskraj för ankan.
Hanna, vad fint att du uppfattar det traditionellt och nytt, så vill jag ha det :)
