In love I am, with this wooden plate "The old lady with the stick".
The characters are a bit Jockum-like, aren´t they?

This is fun - Swedish Gingerbread Caramel. "Imported from Sweden. handed down for generations."
Even though I´ve been living in Sweden in almost 40 years now, I´ve never heard about, or seen them before.
I like the packaging, wonder if they taste good?

Very cute plate! I often wonder about food products we see here in Australia claiming to be "Swedish" or "Danish" or whatever... are they really or is it just a marketing ploy?? Gorgeous packaging yes, at least they got that right :) K

jag fattar inte hur du lyckas hitta alla dina länkar?! de där karamellerna verkade ju allt annat än svenska:)

Cute caramels, never heard of them either.

I don't know if you knew this, but "Kjerringa med staven" is a traditional Norwegian children's song. Listen:

Signorina Svizzera, not swedish, but Strikkelise said that "Kjerringa med staven" is a traditional Norwegian children's song:

actually, i've recently just heard that kjerringa med staven also is something some norwegian families do on christmas. the mother goes first, and then the family follows, and they sing and dance around the house. almost like around the christmas tree!
