Recycling generation
Almost 100 years old now is she, my husbands grandmother. Moved to a old people's home, just recently (!). She really saved everything. Going through some of her treasures that I was lucky enough to inherit, feel reverence.

Oh yes, a real TREASURE !! How lucky you are !!
I like those buckles!
How lucky she is to have you for a granddaughter-in-law. Not everyone would appreciate these things as much as they deserve.
what an amazing find! have fun with it :)
I love såna kantband...
love the way you arranged the buckles!
through not threw
This collection is a real treasure! Almost like art and too precious to actually use it.
angélique, yes thats the way I feel too, want to have it around all the time just to look at it.
anonymous, thanks.
i once found a box at my grandparents marked "string too short to use" and it was full of string that was exactly that, too short to use, but impossible for them to have thrown out. beautiful!
Wow - so inspiring. Very true indeed...my grandparents save everything...things I wouldn't even think about!
kee & fi, "string too short to use", how wonderful :)!
WOW cool...
Lucky you. Imagine all the fun things these treasures can evolve into..
