Recycling generation

Almost 100 years old now is she, my husbands grandmother. Moved to a old people's home, just recently (!). She really saved everything. Going through some of her treasures that I was lucky enough to inherit, feel reverence.

How lucky she is to have you for a granddaughter-in-law. Not everyone would appreciate these things as much as they deserve.

i once found a box at my grandparents marked "string too short to use" and it was full of string that was exactly that, too short to use, but impossible for them to have thrown out. beautiful!
