Sorting cleaning preparing

At least five bags in this size me and the kids carried to local second hand stores. Time for floor renovation, again. The magazine piles has shrinked with 50 per cent (gosh I´m bad at english). Feels fine.

Snygga randiga pantalonger!

I have an ottoman that houses all my magazines. It has been driving me insane...I need to get rid of so many. I just have a hard time parting with things I once loved.

ah, the misfortunes of being an artist/crafter, we tend to accumulate things such as piles of magazines. they're great resource for collages, though that's why i like to keep them. [:

I am needing to weed out our closets too...something about the spring makes me want to give everything away and get back to basics, but somehow I manage to accumulate again by the next year :)

oh if only I lived near those second hand shops! a world wide magazine receycle swap is in order but I fear all that shipping would cancel out the benefits of recycling twice over!

Spring cleaning is always a great feeling :)

Oh yes, it´s double feelings collecting things. Pure love but also burdens. Demand a lot of time, gives and takes energy. Sometimes I long for a more Feng shui home, but in the other hand my collected things give so much inspiration and happiness, and I don´t think I would be comfortable in a too "clean" home.

kimberlee, yes a magazine receycle swap, world wide (without enviroment destroying shipping) would be awesome.

i am with kimberlee... a world wide swap is needed! i just did that yesterday, except I am sending the clothes to some needy kids in the philippines. We really have too much!

Elisabeth, oh that growing magazine piles I know them so very well, I ended up making friends with them because I never manage to cut out the pictures I want to keep, so I keep them all and sometimes I tell them that they might get recycled.
I still adore your ability to catch that little common but treasured moments in everyday life for your blog. thanks again

jag har svårt för att göra av med böcker och tidningar! Men jag borde också göra det, ska flytta snart och då ska det sorteras och föras till loppis:)

i'm clearing out our home right now too. i've been dealing with the children's items first - and me last. as i have so many treasures, that i have been holding on to, but i must part with them - as we are moving to a floating home. that is very small.

i look at my magazine pile & don't know how i could part with them, but they would sink our new home forsure!

i know the feeling, it's quite hard to have to get rid of the old magazines. back home i went through my pile of old fashion mags, i'll share a few pics soon x
