Tree kids
.....................................................................................................................................
They played in their new build tree house "The rescue club" for hours, despite chilly windy weather. One of them even ate her breakfast in it, sat there til her lips were blue of cold. Made me think of one favorite book, Klätterbaronen (The Baron in the Trees) by Italo Calvinos. Topshot, a mobile pic, notice the strange color effects on the ground.

I forgot all about that book! And the invisible Knight. I can't remember the third story. Wow. I must have lent it to someone...
Love these pics. Isn't is amazing how, if something is great, things like weather just doesn't matter to them!
One of my favorite books too :)
Love the photos, such fun!
Wish you a nice week :)
wonderful! the rescue club (!!!) great name, i will have to check out that book. i've only just begun reading about treehouses (Treehouses: The art and Craft of Living out on a limb) by Peter Nelson.
Kate, that seems to be an intresting book. Have to check it out.
oh, i love that book!
and i love treehouses.
I have read this book, it's fabulous!
Treehouses are something wonderful.
there is also a treehouse workshop run, in part, by Peter Nelson who wrote the treehouse book. wouldn't it be great to learn to build one!

love all these pics! the top of the kids turned our super cool with the weird coloring. i LOVE kids handwriting, especially this.
Enzo was just yesterday playing in the neighbor kids yard--their day has just built a platform just like this in their tree. so cool.
sorry, their DAD has just built a platform :)
I wish I had a tree-house when growing up, sounds like lots of fun.
Rescue club! Lovely, such heroes.
