He wanted "torgvantar" (what is that kind of mittens is called in english?)
this morning so he cut off the tops, and gave them to me. Perfect for my window cake.

  5. Ha Ha, I love what you did with the finger tips, always so original and clever! In English they are fingerless gloves, mittens have all the fingers stuck together and thumb seperate, gloves have seperate fingers!

    In England, mittens are where all your fingers go inside the same bit, gloves have finger gaps..

    My favourite thing about languages is how fluent we can be until we try to use a particular word that we have never stumbled across before.

  17. those miser gloves are very functional so I can see why he cut them off. They look live very strange mossy mountains on snowy land. If they were marzipan icing on coconut marshmallow I would eat them they look that good!
