Six women who have known each other since we were children. We went to the same class for nine
years and still hang out. All turning 40 this year. This weekend we celebrated big. Hired a chef who
took care of us. Tremendous luxury. It was a really nice weekend.

ReplyDeleteFabulous idea. I am on the countdown to 40 but my school buddies are flung pretty far and wide and few of us keep in touch. Ah well, I'll just have to find all ages to celebrate when my time comes.

What a fabulous idea!! And that food looks divine. Such a well deserved luxury. I'm sure a few bottles of champagne were had and good on you... I turned the big 40 this year... Hmmm, can't say it's a great feeling but with friend's in the same boat, it's not that bad! Love those dolls on the window sill. Pruxxx

ReplyDeleteCan really recommend it, if you have the opportunity at some point - to place responsibility for food to someone else. None of us knew what would be offered, it was also a great benefit!

It's so great that you're all still in touch. I have friends who I've known since I was 4, we're now 21 and I hope that we'll all make the effort to stay in touch! :)
