Yes, I find the rare sighting of guys who knit so awesome! There is a blogger I follow - a college student who knits, This Boy Knits at http://thisboyknits.blogspot.com/ He's quite endearing. :)
On the Titicaca Lake in Peru there is an island where all men knit. They are so used to it that they can do it all the time and don't need to think about it. The knits they make are full of colour changes and patterns though. Wish I could be as productive :)

i love to see boys/men knitting! my children attend a waldorf school, and it's a beautiful thing to watch the children do handwork.

my dad is a knitter! i think it's great ~ i used to call him when i had knitting issues :)
