Quite rare to see them, men who knit.
I met one yesterday, he sat under a tree and knitted wrist warms.

Was here today. Had sunshine all day. Now in bed with a cold.

Digital library for the decorative arts and material culture. Thanks Karin!

I wish we had an easy way to buy those shirts in the US! My father loves them.

He looks rather buddha-like sitting under that tree knitting.

Hope you get over your cold soon!

Yes, I find the rare sighting of guys who knit so awesome! There is a blogger I follow - a college student who knits, This Boy Knits at http://thisboyknits.blogspot.com/
He's quite endearing. :)

i love to see boys/men knitting! my children attend a waldorf school, and it's a beautiful thing to watch the children do handwork.

On the Titicaca Lake in Peru there is an island where all men knit. They are so used to it that they can do it all the time and don't need to think about it. The knits they make are full of colour changes and patterns though. Wish I could be as productive :)
