What an absolute fantastic cake (learned about it for the first time in my life - although it is said to be of German origin): Did you really take all of that big work of making it ? Seems it´s absolutely delicious.

The cake is called Spettekaka, it is a traditional cake from skåne (the southernmost part of Sweden) made out of eggs, potato flour and sugar. Read more about it here: http://press.skane.com/en/content/spettkaka I did not bake it myself though, got it from my parents in law.

I did not bake it myself though, got it from my parents in law.
We are the same age :) I didn't enjoy turning 40 but it has been an introspective, growth-filled year so far.
