Diary from 1981. I was 11.
Middle left page. "Christmas eve was rather fun I got tape, flashlight, can, name sign, perfume,
slippers, cozy clothes, stockings, comb, Big Jim, mirror etc.
Middle right. "Mother came home with Ann-charlotte today. But Madde just cried and wasn't
nice so mother was sad. And I've hurt myself in the leg it was very painful I still have pain."

Paper clippings, left. Burt from Lödder (Soap).
Right page. "Nurse testifies: I saw the angel get the dying man".
And a clip about swedish singer Kicki Danielsson.

    I write a diary a year since I was 6. I never keep them.Just recently I regret that.

    oh this is so cute! the clippings are funny, a bit spooky. i don' think i have any diaries from childhood left. just teenage time, they are not cute.

    fantastic!! i have a diary with clippings in, on one page are a overweight couple at the opera and next to them a clipping of baked potatoes and salad...hmmm...what was i thinking?? :) I was maybe 6 then

    I love diaries. Mine was pink, I forget the graphic and had a lock. I should show it some time. April 26, 1982 I wrote - today it rained, Little House on the Prairie wasn't on, got my period, got a 96 on my Math test ( a big deal for me because I hated Math.) I've always remembered writing that entry.... big day.

    Your diary reminds me of all the little stationary treats I had at that age. You and I are about the same age, so it's fun to see that you were writing and drawing similar things back then. "Doodles", we used to call the drawings.
