åh herre j elisabeth, fullkomligt älskar dina prag-bilder, mera mera! jag hade velat åka dit innan alla budget flyg invaderade med svensexor och dylikt för några år sen, var det det du syftade på i första upplägget? min man har varit där flera ggr på jobb resor men aldrig tagit några bilder så jag känner nu att jag fått lite mer grepp om stan. familje-bilden är på er damer var så fin (och du ser inte en dag äldre än 25!)! väntar på att du ska hinna lägga upp några av de här på flickr så jag kan favva dem :0)
famapa, jo det där pittoreska finns helt klart där fortfarande, bitvis. Även om jag tycker att kärnan i själva staden Prag till största delen genomsyras av kommers av olika slag, vilket jag finner ganska ointressant. Men vad kan man vänta sig, det är klart att en stad med ett sånt kulturarv som Prag har lockar till sig en hel del människor/potensiella konsumenter. Pragborna vore dumma om de inte utnyttjade detta. Mycket av det ursprungliga finns som sagt kvar, men en hel del, för att inte säga allt, känns anpassat och färgat av kommersialism. Men det kan ju vara trevligt ändå.

lin, yes I really like them I think they look great, especially the ones with the black dots. I can imagne you don't like them if you command them with negative memories or feelings. In my eyes they're good looking :)
It is good that you took a picture of that Kožené zboží sign, the first picture, it must be there since the 60s 70s and who knows how long it will, maybe they will take it down next year, one never knows. The clock, interesting that they remind Lin of communist history, if it was the just mentioned sign I would nout be surprised but these clocks are quite new. But I see what she meant, there used to be big clocks on every corner, they looked little different though. And they were so normal in every day life that perhaps these clocks can still provoke that feeling for her.
Oh, I LOVE to see all the signs! It is so inspiring to see how different they are everywhere. I just posted a bunch of Point Reyes signage and I have been meaning to collect all the Moroccan signage photos I took - thanks for the inspiration!
LOVE this. we had to take prague off our list when visiting europe, sadly due to time and money. these pics are making me sad to have missed it. but perhaps there will be another time to head to this part of the world again xx

I like the sign with the pipe on it! You rarely see those types of signs here, only occasionally in small villages. Xx
